Stephen "Steve" Lynn Saylor

Stephen "Steve" Lynn Saylor, 72, of Venedy, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O'Fallon. He was born August 19, 1954 in Waterloo, IA, the son of Virginia, nee Boyce, Saylor and she preceded him in death. He married Denise Peters October 2, 1992 in Nashville, IL and she survives in Venedy.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Nolan and Kymber Saylor; his step-son, Shannon Peters; eight grandchildren; and his brothers, Mike Saylor and Scott Saylor.

Steve was a retired mechanic; a veteran of the United States Navy; and a member of the Belleville Christian Center. He enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley. 

All services will be private.

Memorials made in memory of Steve are suggested to the Belleville Christian Center and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
