Obituary

Stanley “Stan” A. Heimann, 85, of Damiansville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at his home. He was born April 27th, 1941, in Damiansville, the son of Frank X. and Minnie Ann, nee Fuehne, Heimann. He married Rose Marie F., nee Tebbe, Wobbe on November 20th, 1969, in Marydale.

Stan was a lifelong farmer to his dying day. He planted most of his 2026 crop. His hobbies included spending Sundays at his clubhouse, playing cards, making wine, and traveling with Rosie. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Karen (Fred) Santel, Michael (Karen) Wobbe, and Steven (Jenifer) Heimann, and six grandchildren, Logan Santel, Doran, Tanner, Tristan, Carter Wobbe, and Gretchen Heimann. Stan is also survived by his siblings, Richard (Lou) Heimann, Mary (Gerald) Innes, Helen (Francis) Billhartz, and William (Cindi) Heimann; and sister-in-law Rita Heimann. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Marie Heimann; his brother, Ralph Heimann; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Otto and Helen (nee Benhoff) Tebbe; and his brother-in-law, Otto Tebbe Jr. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 12th, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Monday, July 13th, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., at St. Damian Catholic Church in Damiansville. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13th, at St. Damian Catholic Church in Damiansville. Burial will follow at St. Damian Cemetery in Damiansville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Stan may be made to St. Damian Men’s and/or Ladies Sodality and will be received at the church or Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265, which is serving the family.
