Shirley Ann King, formerly of Carlyle, passed away on March 29, 2012 in Palm Desert, California at the age of 80 years. Shirley was born in Carlyle on July 16, 1931, the daughter of Willis Darrell "Cotton" and Catherine Marie Buchholz Reynolds. She married Clyde W. King, and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; a beloved son: Kelvie Bruce King; her brothers and sisters-in-law: John E. and Betty Reynolds, Willis Darrell "Junior" Reynolds, Donald R. and Sue Reynolds, and James T. "Babe" and Margaret Reynolds.
Shirley is survived by her much loved partner: Elmer Frank of Palm Desert, California; her sister-in-law: Evelyn Deloris "Peaches" Reynolds of Carlyle; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
As per her wishes, she will have a quiet family memorial service at the grave site as she is joined with her late husband and son.
