Rose Wiebler of rural Carlyle passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Rosie was born in Barn Hill, Illinois on September 19, 1926, the daughter of Homer and Alice (Plumley) Davis. She married Richard Wiebler on August 9, 1945 in Carlyle and he preceded her in death on January 11, 2005.
Rosie is survived by a son: Larry Wiebler of Carlyle; and a brother: George Kunkle and wife Kate of Beckemeyer.
Rosie was a homemaker and a devoted mother.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 6, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle with Fr. George Mauck officiating. The interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family at the Frerker Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 to 5:00 P.M. or on Monday from 8:00 A.M. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials made in Rosie’s honor be made to the family.
