Roger Paul Beckemeyer

Roger Paul Beckemeyer, 83, of Columbus, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026. He was born February 21, 1942, in Bresse, Illinois, the son of the late Paul and Edna Beckemeyer.

Roger was a Civil War enthusiast. He enjoyed woodworking, Cadillacs, collecting Brown County Art, and feeding the wildlife. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Roger is survived by his wife, Janet Beckemeyer, his two sons, Brad Beckemeyer and his wife Jill and Ben Beckemeyer and his wife Tracy; a sister, Jeanie Beckemeyer, three brothers, Ron Beckemeyer and his wife Jan, Bob Beckemeyer and his wife Theresa, and Dick Beckemeyer and his wife Gail; and five grandchildren, Kyle, Lillian, and Chase Beckemeyer and Hope and Faith Zink.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle. Burial will follow at Beckemeyer Cemetery in Beckemeyer.
