Robert Kreke

Robert Kreke, 55, of New Baden, died Friday, November 7, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born December 15, 1969 in Belleville, the son of Henry "Boots" and Judith Ann, nee Griesbaum, Kreke.

Robert is survived by his mother, Judith Ann Kreke; his children, Dakotah Kreke, Dylan Kreke, and Danielle (Kodiak) White; his grandchildren, Sawyer, Walker, and Bennett White;his sister, Lisa (Jon) Gunn; nephew, Josh (Jessica) Gunn; great nephews, Henry Gunn and Colton Gunn; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Justine, nee Bruns, Kreke and Clarence and Edelin, nee Kahrhoff, Griesbaum.

Robert was a passionate outdoorsman and avid hunter, finding joy and fulfillment in spending time in nature. His kindness and willingness to help others were hallmarks of his character. He always approached life with a smile and a good joke, treasuring the moments spent with family and creating lasting memories together.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 23 ,2025 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Nordike Funeral Home in New Baden.

Burial will take place on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery in New Baden.
