Obituary

Ralph Hustedde, 76, of Germantown, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Carlyle Healthcare Center. He was born on April 16, 1950, in Breese, the son of the late Gerhard and Alvina, nee Becker, Hustedde.

Ralph’s contributions extended beyond his professional life; he faithfully served our nation as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam era, demonstrating courage and dedication to his country. Following his military service, Ralph pursued a career as a truck driver for over 25 years with Agripride FS in Breese, earning the respect of his colleagues and community for his reliability and strong work ethic.

His personal passions reflected a deep connection to both community and nature. Ralph was an active member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown, and he enriched the lives of many as a youth organization coach. His love for gardening, hunting, and fishing often brought him closer to family and friends, fostering cherished memories and bonds.

Ralph’s legacy lives on through his beloved family. He is survived by his three children: Tanya (Greg) Steele of Imperial, Missouri; Scott Hustedde of Germantown; and Jamie Williams of Bartelso; and by his former wife, Sandra, nee Schroeder, Hustedde. His memory is further carried by four grandchildren, Sierra (Blake) Rakers of Damiansville, Alex (fiancé Elizabeth Isaacs) Kluemke of Bartelso, Myah and Dawson Williams of Bartelso, and three great-grandchildren, Blair, Shae and Beau Rakers who brought joy and fulfillment to his later years. Ralph is also survived by his sister, Mary (Tony) Endres of Germantown. He was preceded in death by his brother, Virgil Hustedde of Breese.

Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown. Burial with full military honors will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery in Germantown.
