Paul D. Horst of Richmond Heights, Missouri died Thursday, November 27, 2014 at St. Mary’s Rehabilitation Center in Clayton, Missouri at the age of 82 years. Paul was born in Richmond Heights on April 18, 1932, the son of Paul D. H. and Esther (nee Spindler) Horst.
Paul served in the United State Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired math teacher.
Mr. Horst is survived by a “daughter”: Kelly Martin and husband Jeff of Lexington, Kentucky; a “grandson”: Teddy Martin of Lexington, Kentucky; and many cousins and many friends.
Graveside services will be Monday, December 1, 2014 at 11:30 AM at Carlyle Township Cemetery. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
For those wishing to honor Mr. Horst with a memorial, the family suggests CASANA (Childhood Apraxa of Speech Association of North America), and those will be received at the Frerker Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax Street, Carlyle, IL 62231.
