Nancy J. Conner

Nancy J. Conner, 74, of Pocahontas, IL, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born November 14, 1951 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Richard I. and Mary Rita, nee Brownlee, Jeppe. She married James Richard "Dick" Conner on August 15, 1981 in Memphis, TN and he survives in Pocahontas.

In addition to her husband of almost 45 years, Nancy is survived by her son, Ian Conner; her siblings, Ronald K. (Patricia) Jeppe and Janice (Richard) Jeppe Gold; and nieces and nephew, Rachel Jeppe Nosef, Beth Ann Gold, and Ronald K. Jeppe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ryan Hurt on March 21, 2026; and her grandparents, Henry & Grace Brownlee and Henry William & Anna Louise Jeppe.

Nancy was a contract specialist for the Department of the Treasury. She enjoyed quilting and cooking. 

There will be no services.

Memorials made in memory of Nancy can be made to the charity of the donor's choice and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax St., Carlyle, IL 62231 who is serving the family.
