Michael Ziemba

Michael “Mike” Ziemba of Shattuc passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 a Lose Creek Road/Carlyle Lake at the age of 55 years. Mike was born in East St. Louis, IL on November 3, 1959, the son of Joseph and Dolores (Bales) Ziemba.
Mike is survived by his sweetheart Patty Wasser; his sister: Suzanne Iberg and husband Willie of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; Patty’s children: Craig Wasser and wife Sharon of Highland, Illinois and Shaun Wasser of Greenville, Illinois; a niece: Tanya Willoughby and husband Paul of Fairfax, Virginia; a nephew: Mike Iberg and wife Erin of St. Louis, Missouri; and many friends.
Mike was a cabinet maker for Wicks Organ Company in Highland. He was an avid outdoorsman, belonging to the Beagle Hunting Club and the the Racoon Hunting Club and a Life Member of the N.R.A.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, July 3, 2015 at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle from 4 to 6:00 P.M. with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in Mike’s honor be made to the Epilepsy Foundation or A.L.S. Foundation and those will be received at the Frerker Funeral Home.
