Mary Louise Kuhl

Mary Louise Kuhl, aged 76, of Aviston, Illinois, passed away at her home on December 25, 2025. Born on June 17, 1949, in Breese, Illinois, she was the beloved daughter of the late Anthony "Tony" and Bernadine (Mueller) Kuhl.

Her family enriched Mary's life, and she is survived by numerous cousins who will remember her fondly.

A proud graduate of Mater Dei High School in 1967, Mary dedicated many years to serving her country. She worked at the Missouri Draft Board and the United States Army as a civil servant in St. Louis and at Scott Air Force Base. In her leisure, she found joy in crocheting and needlepointing, talents that brought warmth to those around her.

A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston, officiated by Fr. Von Deeke. Following the service, Mary will be laid to rest at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, with burial to occur at a later date.

Prior to the Mass, a visitation will be held from 8:00 to 9:45 AM on December 29 at St. Francis Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary's memory are suggested to St. Francis Catholic Church or Mater Dei High School. They will be received at church or at Nordike Funeral Home, 150 North Clinton Street, Breese, Illinois 62230.
