Mary "Pat" Brewer

Mary “Pat” Brewer, of New Baden, passed away on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023, at the age of 81. Pat was born in Ward, Arkansas on March 31, 1942. She was the daughter of Arthur and Mary Avaline (Tucker) Collins.
Pat married Donald Fletcher Brewer in Chandler, Oklahoma on April 27th, 1961, and the couple were happily married for 62 years.
Pat moved to New Baden in August of 2022 after living in Oklahoma for most of her life. She enjoyed fishing, western books/movies, and watching all of her grand-babies play sports. Her greatest passion was her family, and she loved being “Granny" to her many, many grandkids.
Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a one of a kind, kindred soul, and her presence will be sorely missed by many, many people.
Pat is survived by her loving husband, Fletcher Brewer; Children: Donald Hoyt Brewer and wife Chris of Chandler, OK;John Fletcher Brewer and wife Glenda of Davenport, OK;Kathryn Dawn Munro and husband Cameron of Inola, OK;Amanda Zoe Caldwell and husband Randy of Chandler, OK; 11 Grandchildren; 23 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great-Grandchild; Sister, Freda Bales of Davenport, OK; Brother, Tom Collins, of Cave City, AR. Sister in-law Paula and Dr. Bobby Anthony, of Stillwater, ok. Brother in-law Rev Rick Brewer and wife Angela. Of Tulsa ok. And sister in-law Dee Basarab Brewer of Tulsa ok.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, and Grandson, Brandon Mugele; As well as her siblings: Ron Collins, John Collins, Bill Collins, Arthur Collins, Dee Soderstrom, and Fern Williams.
