Kevin Lee Kuepfer

Kevin Lee Kuepfer, 68, of Carlyle, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at his daughter's home in Highland. He was born June 29, 1958 in Highland, the son of Willard Edward and Alice Rita, nee Brauer, Kuepfer. He married Patricia O'Shea on March 27, 1999 in Odin and she survives in Carlyle.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughters, Kelli (Adam) Hanebrink of Highland, Tracy (Tim) Gombos of Highland, and Trista Oettle of Carlyle; his cherished grandchildren, Olivia, Aiden, Keaton, Katelyn, Gabrielle, Haylie, Hunter, Madysen, and Graysen; and great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Ophelia, Odelia, and Ozzie; as well as his siblings, Debra Bullard of Virginia, Linda (Larry) Lagant of Greenville, Dave (Dawn) Kuepfer of Centralia, and Lois (Steve) Shunkweiler of Poplar Bluff, MO; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy & Mike Jargon of Carlyle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristeen Oettle.

Kevin was a truck driver for Beelman Trucking. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m.on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Jamestown Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Gretchen Wilson Park in Pocahontas.

Memorials made in memory of Kevin are suggested to the Clinton County Humane Society and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax St., Carlyle, IL 62231 who is serving the family.
