Kenneth Eugene Disch

June 16, 1945 — September 27, 2025

Greenville, IL

Kenneth E. Disch, age 80, of Greenville, IL, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Carlyle Healthcare Center. Born in Highland, IL, on June 16, 1945, Ken was the beloved son of the late Eugene F. and Bernece I. (McCray) Disch.

Ken's enduring love story began on July 11, 1976, when he married Victoria Anagnos. Their 49 years of marriage were a testament to their deep bond, and Vicki remained by his side in Greenville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his cherished sister, Darlene Talleur; his sister-in-law, Joan Anagnos; and his brothers-in-law, Christos Sr. and Nicholas Anagnos.

Ken is survived by his devoted wife, Victoria "Vicki" Disch; his brother, David Disch, and his wife, Marsha; sister-in-law, Kathleen Anagnos; as well as eleven nieces and nephews: Jody (Ryan) Weiss, Judy (Jon) Collier, Julie (Terry) Johnson, Bob (Elise) Talleur, Aaron Disch, Jordan Disch, Amy (Jacob) Thomas, Christos (Carol) Anagnos Jr., Linda (Steve) Lane, Nicole (Bob) Oliveira, and Philip (Desi) Anagnos. He also leaves behind many great and great-great nieces and nephews, his dedicated team at Eagle Panel Systems, and numerous cousins and dear friends.

Ken was a visionary entrepreneur who began his career in the cash register business. In the early 1980s, he founded Concept 2000, a company dedicated to creating structural insulated panels for high-efficiency homes and buildings. This enterprise has since evolved into Eagle Panel Systems, Inc., where Ken served as owner and president.

Throughout his life, Ken and Vicki enjoyed living in various locations, including St. Louis and Cape Coral, Florida, but they ultimately considered Greenville their home. He had a passion for boating, relishing time spent on the Mississippi River, Intracoastal Waterway of the Kaloosahaci River, or Governor Bond Lake. Above all, Ken found his greatest joy in the company of his wife, family, and friends, treasuring the connections he cultivated over the years.

Ken E. Disch will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, love for family, and the countless lives he touched. His legacy of love and friendship will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
