Dennis L. Wuebbels, 79, of Carlyle, passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Born in Breese, IL, on January 9, 1947, to Laverne "Bill" and Marcella (Dalhaus) Wuebbels.

A master carpenter, Dennis dedicated his life to building homes across the Belleville area, leaving a lasting legacy through his skill and dedication to his craft. Beyond his work, he found joy in scuba diving and shared his life with many beloved Malamutes.

He is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Marla Wilkins, Lynda Ahle, and Marilyn Barbaglia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kevin Wuebbels.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
