Deloris M. Randant

Deloris M. Randant, age 83, of Hoffman passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at her home. Deloris was born April 24, 1932 in Roxanna, IL, the daughter of Oral and Irene (Dann) Owen. She married Guy E. Randant, Jr. on July 28, 1951 in Harrisburg, IL, and he preceded her in death on June 30, 1996.

Deloris is survived by her children: Danny Randant and wife Mary of St. Louis, MO, Denzil Randant and wife Barb of Highland, and Becky Tyberendt of Hoffman; her sister: Eulala Cooley and husband Bill of Centralia; her brother David Owen and wife June of South Chicago Heights, IL; five grandchildren: Amanda Lynch and husband Michael, Lacey Sonderegger and husband Mike, Lynsie Randant, Dustin Randant, Kristin Randant, Holly Linton and husband Jack, Adam Tyberendt and wife Stefanie; as well as six great grandchildren.

Mrs. Randant was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers: Denzil Owen, Glendale Owen, and Bill Owen; and her son-in-law: Larry Tyberendt

Deloris and her husband Guy were the former owners of Circle “R” Barbecue and she was well known for her work in the local restaurants for many years. Before her husband’s death she loved fishing with him. She was a huge St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan; she enjoyed baking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Nordike Funeral Home, located at 150 N. Clinton Street, Breese, IL.

Friends may visit with the family at the Nordike Funeral Home in Breese on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 4 to 8:00 PM or on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until the time of service.

For those wishing to honor Mrs. Randant with a memorial gift, the family suggests Heartland Hospice, the American Cancer Society, or to the charity of the donor’s choice and those will be received at the funeral home or by Frerker Funeral Home which is serving the family.
