Carl A. Rohr, aged 83, of Salem,  passed away on September 17, 2026, at Twin Willows Nursing Home. Born on August 26, 1943, in Breese, Illinois, he was the beloved son of Lawrence and Katherine Rohr.

Carl is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Mary (Andrews) Rohr, of Salem, and his son, Tony Rohr, of Carlyle. He leaves behind his cherished granddaughter, Bailey Friend, along with two great-grandchildren, Haizley and Posey Friend.

His career included dedicated service at Frerker Funeral Home and ambulance service. In later years, Carl ran a DJ and karaoke business for 15 years, sharing his passion for music and entertainment.

A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
