Bill Schulte

Robert William "Bill" Schulte, 59, of Carlyle, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born on June 23, 1967, in Breese, the son of the late Don and Mary Margaret (née Von Bokel) Schulte.

Bill will be deeply missed by his siblings, Gary, Rick (Michele), Lynn (Jon) Lundstrom, Donna (Dale Tebbe), and Joyce (Mark) Olliges. He was a cherished uncle to Nikki, Alex, Clinton, Bret, Heather, Ellen, Jessica, and Madison, and a beloved great-uncle to their children. His life was filled with shared moments of joy with many special friends.

A dedicated roofer by trade, Bill enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—whether fishing, spending time outdoors, or savoring BBQ gatherings with loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Carlyle Fish Hatchery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Matthew 25 Food Pantry or the Clinton County Humane Society and sent to Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax St., Carlyle, IL 62231 who is serving the family.
