Ann Marie Stidham

Ann Marie Stidham, 81, of Damiansville, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. She was born July 23, 1944 in Brownsville, PA, the daughter of William Henry and Anna Marcella, nee Morosky, Griffin. She married Douglas C. Stidham, Sr. on May 23, 1964 and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2022.

Ann is survived by her children, Douglas Stidham, Jr. of Damiansville, IL, David (Dana) Stidham of St. Louis, MO, and Michelle (Jamie) Pittenger of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Jordan Stidham of Memphis, TN, Crystal (Nick) Bova of New Athens, IL, Candice (Blake) Gooding of Southaven, MS, Chase Stidham of Nashville, TN, and Jack Stidham & Jacob Stidham of Nashville, TN; great-grandchildren, Juliet & Joselyn Davis, Isabelle & Andrew Bova, Nevaeh Gooding, Reeva Gooding, and Mason Carr.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Michael Carr III; a brother, George Griffin; and her sisters, Rosemary McGrady and Lenora Goff.

Mrs. Stidham was a homemaker and a member of St. George Parish in New Baden.

A gathering for friends and family will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the family residence located at 213 N. Walnut St., Damiansville, IL 62215.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
