Thais Marie Woods, age 69, of Carlyle passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Barnes Jewish Medical Center in St. Louis. She was born on August 10, 1950 in Columbus, Wisconsin, the daughter of Kenneth and Deloris (Johnson) Ladwig.
Mrs. Woods is survived by her husband, James Woods of Carlyle; her step-children: Ann Marie Osborne, Kemon-Rhiana Livingston, and James L. Woods III; her goddaughter, Heather Chance; and her brother, Loris Ladwig and wife Linda.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and two brothers: Mark Ladwig and Brian Ladwig.
Thais was a very spiritual p
erson and practice the art of Reiki. She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading and making jewelry.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
