Nellie Ruth Hale, 85, of New Baden died on Monday, November 16, 2015 at her home. Ruth was born on December 6, 1928 in Springfield, Illinois the daughter of Joseph and Blanch Crawford. She married Clarence E. Hale and he preceded her in death in 1984.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Robert Hale and Joseph Hale both of New Baden; and two grandchildren, Kelly Jo and Bobby Hale.
Ruth was a member of the Red Hat Club as well as the New Baden American Legion Auxiliary. She worked at Scott Air Force Base for many years.
Private graveside services will be held for Ruth at Green Mount Cemetery at a later date. Nordike Funeral Home in New Baden is serving the Hale family.
