Michelle L. Rickett, age 30, of Silvis, IL, formerly of Carlyle, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at her home. She was born on August 10, 1990 the daughter of Michael and Tammy (Cheek) Rickett.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her siblings: Tiffany Ferguson, Michael Rickett, Alvaro Martinez, Juan Martinez, Richie Cole, and Onna Cole; nephew Tyler Ferguson; niece Sawyer Ferguson: many other nieces and nephews; Grandfather Arthur Cheek; Grandmother Dolores Essington; and her best friend Deva Essington.
She was preceded in death by her aunt Nellie Cheek; Nana Diane Cheek; Grandmother Laura Rickett; and Grandfather James Rickett.
Michelle was a very funny and outgoing person, she was always trying to put a smile on other people’s faces. She put everyone else needs before her own and had a very giving spirit.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials made in memory of Michelle are suggested her family and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax Street, Carlyle, IL 62231.
