Mark Klinkman

Mark Klinkman, 64, of Swansea, died Monday, July 20, 2020 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born April 6, 1956 in Belleville, the son of Richard “Dick” and Mary Ann, nee Wangler, Klinkman.

Mark is survived by his sisters, Caroline (Bruce) Zwibelman of St. Louis, MO and Barbara (Randall) Dale of Belleville, IL; nephew and nieces, Jared (Cassandra) Dale, Mary Ann (David) Wada, and Emily & Anna Zwibelman; and great-nephews and great-niece, Devin & Vivian Wada and Jared Dale, Jr.

Mr. Klinkman enjoyed bbqing; sports, especially baseball and basketball; and was very knowledgeable in American History, especially relating to the Civil War and Canada.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2020 at St. George Catholic Church in New Baden with Rev. Dale Maxfield officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in New Baden. Everyone is required to wear a mask if attending the mass.

Memorials in memory of Mark may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and will be received at church or Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
