Marian J. Lippert

Marian J. Lippert, age 92, of Carlyle passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese. Marian was born September 2, 1929, the daughter of Aloys and Gertrude (Huelsman) Eversgerd. She married Donald Lippert on June 20, 1951 at St Mary’s Church in Carlyle and he died on February 24, 1982.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Willmirth and husband Larry (Bob) of Keyesport; Jerry Lippert and wife Peggy of Mandeville, LA; Seven grandchildren ; Cassie (Kyle) Hollenkamp of Aviston, Crystal Lingley of Greenville, Jason Lippert of Orlando, FL, Ryan (Shannon) Lippert of Manlius, NY, Royce (Megan) Lippert of Troy, IL, Stacy (Matt) Soukup of Bush, LA, and Shelly (Brett) Dyar of Covington, LA; Fifteen great grandchildren, Brennan Willmirth of Clinton, IA, Nora and Nate Hollenkamp, Brady, Lane and Cody Lingley, Sean, Nolan, Mason, Matthew and Kaitlyn Lippert, Miranda Woodall, Edward Soukup, and Emersyn and Camden Dyar. Two sisters, Patricia (Willard) Wessel of Centralia and Carol (Jim) Peters of Cotton Town, TN.; sisters-in-law Barb Eversgerd and Doris Eversgerd; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald; parents Aloys and Gertrude Eversgerd; stepmother Nelda Hanks; four brothers, Al “Jr”, David, Gene, and Firmin “Gus” Eversgerd; grandson in law Brian Lingley; stepsister Leota Pommer; and sister in law Wanita Eversgerd.

Marian was a seamstress with DeMoulin Brothers of Greenville for many years. She enjoyed visits with her grandchildren and great grandchildren; gardening; puzzles; and was a loyal St Louis Cardinals fan.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle with Rev. George Mauck officiating. Interment will follow at Carlyle Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle.

Memorials in honor of Marian are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home at 740 Fairfax Street., Carlyle, IL 62231.
