Lorene I. Haas

Lorene I. "Lou" Haas, 91, of Mascoutah, died Monday, April 13, 2020 at Mar-Ka Nursing Home in Mascoutah. She was born November 8, 1928 in New Baden, the daughter of Conrad and Martha, nee Harpstrite, Lindner. She married Theodore Haas March 18, 1950 in Piggett, AR, and he survives in Mascoutah.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Jerri L. (Charles) Strate of New Baden; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary L. and Carol Haas; and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Haas worked for the International Shoe Factor in Belleville. She loved sewing, and watching the grandkids and great-grandkids.
All services will be private.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
