Kenneth J. Knapp

Kenneth J. Knapp age 51, of Carlyle passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. He was born on April 26, 1964 in Breese the son of Marcella (Koch) and James Knapp.

Mr. Knapp is survived by his mother, Marcella of Beckemeyer; three sisters: Sue (Steve) Weishaar of Beardstown, IL, Beverly (Sheldon) Carter of Beckemeyer, and Dodie (Jack) Rose of Las Vegas, NV; six brothers: James “Jimbo” (Debbie) Knapp of Greenville, Ron (Janel) Knapp of Glen Carbon, Brian (Melinda) Knapp of Breese, Pat Knapp of Beckemeyer, Kyle Knapp of Rockwell, NC, and Cory (Susan) Knapp of Breese. Many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Mr. Knapp was preceded in death by his father James Knapp and his brother Kevin Knapp.
Kenny was a member of St. Anthony Church in Beckemeyer. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He was music lover and big supporter of local radio stations. Kenny was a giving man, he donated blood whenever possible and carried on is giving ways after death by being an organ and tissue donor. Mr. Knapp never met a stranger. He loved his family dearly, especially his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Visitation will be Friday, August 21, 2015 at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle at 11:00 AM with Fr. Chuck Tuttle and Deacon Bob Lippert officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Beckemeyer.

Memorials can made in honor of Kenny to St. Anthony Cemetery Fund or the Clinton County Relay for Life and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax Street, Carlyle, IL 62231.
