Kathy L. Wiseman

Kathy L. Wiseman, nee King, age 74, of Keyesport passed peacefully on May 7, 2020 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on September 22, 1945 in East Vandergrift, Pennsylvania the daughter of Floyd and Lillie Marie (Powell) King. She graduated from Elyria Catholic High School in Elyria, Ohio in 1963. She married Jim Wiseman in 1980 but they later divorced.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and siblings: Arthur King, Alfred King, Walter King, Sadie (Herb) Wedge, Judy (Ray) Fenton, and Mary (Jon) Kassander.

Kathy is survived by her children: Teresa (Mike) Chasteen of Keyesport, John (Tina) Simmons of Aviston, and Mary (Paul) Cox of Keyesport; her grandchildren: Amanda (Josh Kmucha) Holstien, Kenyon Holstien, April (Dave) Crumby, Stephanie (Jeff) Blain, Jay (Amber Frey) Rines Jr., Mariah (Bobby Dreesons) Rines, Brittany (John Bare) Chasteen, Faith Simmons, John Simmons, Riley Simmons, Dustin Cox, Nicole Cox, and Brandon (Chelsi) Cox; thirty-three great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.

Kathy was all about her family, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be planned at a later date.

Memorials in made in memory of Kathy are suggested to the family and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax Street, Carlyle, IL 62231.
