Joseph Francis Bango

Joseph Francis Bango, age 57, of Beckemeyer, formerly of Germantown died on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville. Joe was born on November 30, 1957 in Breese, IL the son of Joseph and Viola (Budde) Bango and they preceded him in death.

Mr. Bango was also preceded in death by his cousin, Kurt Gross and his aunts and uncles: Abelino and Leona Bango, Edward and Olga Gross, and Mary Willmann.

Joe is survived by his cousins: Joyce Bacone and husband John of Indianapolis Indiana, Joseph G. and wife Mary Jane Bango of Carlyle, Mike and wife Phyllis Bango of Carlyle, and Dan and wife Karen Gross of St. Louis, MO; and his very special friends Bruce and Diane Magoon of Tennessee.

Mr. Bango enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing golf. Joe was a veteran of the United States Air Force, he served for six years and achieved the rank of Staff Sargent.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Nordike Funeral Home in Breese from 4:00 until 6:00 PM.

A Memorial Service will start at 6:00 PM also at Nordike Funeral Home in Breese with Fr. Chuck Tuttle officiating.

Memorials in honor of Joe are suggested to Community Link or the Wounded Warriors Fund and will be received at the funeral home.
