Johnny Wayne Roberson, 60, of New Baden, died Friday, June 19, 2020 near Damiansville. He was born June 5, 1960 in Chicago, the son of Johnny L. and Virginia, nee Camp, Roberson. He married Shelie Goodman February 14, 1994 in Pigeon Forge, TN she survives in New Baden.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two step-sons, Lt. Col. Adam Gugelmeyer who is stationed at the Pentagon, Washington DC, and Jeremy Gugelmeyer of Rock Island, IL.
Mr. Roberson was a mechanic and loved tinkering and helping people when they were in need.
There will be no services.
Memorials may be made to the family and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
