Harry "Bud" Westfall

Harry F. “Bud” Westfall, age 84, of Hoffman passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. He was born on February 28, 1937 in East St. Louis, Illinois the son of Harry and Marie (Oliver) Westfall. He married Bonnie Palek in Nashville, Illinois on July 9, 1969.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Westfall; his son Shane Westfall and wife Pam; and two grandchildren: Cameron Owen and Christian Westfall all of Hoffman.
Bud worked as a union painter and drywall finisher for over 40 years. In retirement he enjoyed tinkering in his shed, building all kinds of small projects and fixing anything that was brought to him.
In keeping with Mr. Westfall’s wishes there will be no funeral services held.
Memorials made in Bud’s memory are suggested to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax Street, Carlyle, IL 62231.
