Dennis L. Gerling, 81, of Germantown, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Clinton Manor Living Center in New Baden. He was born June 24, 1935 in Breese, son of George and Minnie (Heidemann) Gerling.
He is survived by relatives and friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his brothers, Victor and Al Gerling of New Baden; and a sister-in-law, Bernice Gerling of New Baden.
Mr. Gerling was a farmer and also worked for E.J. Kehrer in Albers. He was a member of St. Bernard Parish in Albers.
All services are private.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover, New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
