David W. Jargon

David Wilson Jargon, age 81, of Carlyle passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. David was born in Beckemeyer on March 2, 1936 the son of Henry and Hattie (Dorries) Jargon. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Jargon is survived by his two sons, Brad (Sherry) Jargon of Roxanna, and Michael (Kathy) Jargon of Carlyle; three grandchildren: Misty, Sean, and Christopher; a great grandson, C.J.; and his brothers and sisters: Jerry & Jeanette Jargon, Nancy & Vic Darnell, and Jan & Dave Thomas.
David was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Korean War. He was an outdoors-man, he loved to fish and hunt. He worked as a custom cabinet maker most of his life and enjoyed working with his hands.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 OM on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle. Inurnment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis on Friday.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle.

Expressions of sympathy made in David’s name are suggested to the charity of donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
