Kent Anthony Gebke

Kent A. Gebke, 43, of Buena Park, California, formerly of Carlyle died on January 4, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Belleville, Illinois on February 9, 1974, the son of Jerry and JoAnn (Jobe) Gebke.
Mr. Gebke is survived by his mother, JoAnn of Carlyle, a brother Steve Gebke of Carlyle; a niece Jeriann Gebke of Carlyle and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Gebke; a sister, LeAnn Gebke; and his grandparents, Frank and Dorothy (Huene) Gebke, and Fred and Mable (McGrath) Jobe.
Kent was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Private funeral services will be held, interment will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
Memorials made in memory of Kent are suggested to Paralyzed Veterans of America and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle.
