Arthur L. Chaney

Arthur Leon Chaney, age 57, of Keyesport passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese. He was born on May 6, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Arthur R. and Patsy (Robinson) Chaney.

Art was preceded in death by his mother and father as well as his infant daughter, Stephanie Chaney.

Mr. Chaney is survived by his son Arthur Benjamin Chaney of Chicago; a daughter, Holly Covey of Missouri; two sisters: Brenda Easler of Pocahontas and Linda Bunger of Highland; his fiancé Rita Lewis of Keyesport.

Arthur was an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved all things nature. He enjoyed helping others and just loved life in general.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle with Rev. Bruce Sassy officiating. Interment will follow at McKendree Chapel Cemetery in Keyesport.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 8 until the time of services at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in Arthur’s name to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle.
